Based in Hardington Moor, Moorend Nursery is a family run business owned by Mr and Mrs Margetts, and has been established for over forty years. 

Moorend sells a wide range of plants, from tubs and baskets, to bedding plants.  They also grow fruit and vegetable plants which are supplied to local garden centres. 

At Moorend they do not believe in using growth regulants and chemicals so therefore all their produce is grown naturally. This is achieved by watering, ventilation and sunlight.  The greenhouses in which their produce is grown is well ventilated and temperature controlled, both by thermostat in the cooler months and natural heat source in the summer, this  maximises growth and ensures that their produce is second to none.
