HARDINGTON VILLAGE 67th ANNUAL
FLOWER AND CRAFT SHOW
Planning has already started for next year's Show and if you find yourself at a "loose end" over the coming dark months, perhaps you could consider preparing or thinking about some of the new exhibits decided upon in the Photographic, Handicraft and Preserve sections. The 2008 classes may be referred to here.
PHOTOGRAPHIC (Including those taken in earlier years provided they have not been entered previously):- Insect(s)
- Rock Formation
- Village Life
- Black and White portrait
- Flight.
- Painting or Drawing
- A greetings card
- Item of knitting/crochet
- Item of cross stitch
- Item of pottery
- An item made "into something new from something old" (recycling).
PRESERVES:
All items as last year, except that "Rhubarb and Ginger" jam will replace strawberry jam.
May I remind everyone that ALL classes are open to everyone (male and female, both adults and juniors) except for Section E (juniors only).
The following donations have been authorised by the Committee from the proceeds the 2008 Show:- Village Hall - £50
- St.Mary's Church - £50
- The Messenger - £25
- The Chinese Overseas Christian Mission (Ernest Kong) - £25 - in grateful thanks for the defraying of expenses, over many years, for the printing of the schedules.
