REPORT FOR JULY - THE GARDEN PARTY
Once again the ladies of Hardington & Pendomer WI 
were lucky with the weather and it stayed dry and warmish for our garden party meeting at Moor Farm House. Anne and Nick Lunt welcomed us to their lovely home and garden and put up with the committee invading their kitchen!
The President, Fiona Chadwick, conducted a short business meeting after which members, who had brought along their husbands/ partners, enjoyed Pimms and refreshments prepared by the committee. The chocolate fountain with strawberries and marshmallows was especially enjoyed and much finger licking ensued!
Three prospective new members joined us and we hope to see them again in September for our next meeting on the 12th, when any other new members will also be warmly welcomed. Our speaker will be Jean Gillespie who will give us A Walk Through The National Gallery. Do remember our competitions for Flower of the Month and Your Favourite Piece of Blue/Purple Art.
Enjoy the summer break and hopefully some warm weather and we look forward to seeing everyone again in September.
